PatientsForce in 2024 actively promoted environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) actions and achieved multiple results, demonstrating the company's comprehensive commitment to sustainable development and social responsibility. These actions encompass the three aspects of Environment (E), Social (S), and Governance (G), not only embodying the core values of digital innovation and sustainable operation but also laying a solid foundation for the company's future development.

Environmental

In terms of environmental protection, PatientsForce adheres to the goals of carbon reduction and resource consumption reduction, using digital technology and innovative services to support vulnerable groups, achieving multiple environmental care results.

  1. Carbon reduction through services: PatientsForce's patient support program management platform handles nearly 600,000 electronic services annually, reducing paper usage and significantly lowering its carbon footprint through comprehensive digital processes. This is not only an important achievement in the company's commitment to environmental protection but also a milestone in promoting the digital transformation of the health industry. Data shows that, compared to traditional paper-based processes, the electronic system saves a large amount of resources annually and reduces carbon emissions from transportation and paper production.
  2. Carbon neutrality goal: We actively participate in the international Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), committing to achieving net zero emissions by 2030. To this end, we continue to allocate resources to optimize internal operation processes while actively exploring renewable energy applications and sustainable supply chain management, ensuring every step is toward the carbon neutrality goal.
  3. Supporting street medical actions: Over the years, PatientsForce has continuously supported rural healthcare and education for children in underprivileged areas. In 2024, we further joined in supporting street medical actions, providing medical resources and financial support to help the homeless enhance healthcare accessibility, achieving the goal of medical equality. These actions directly respond to the urgent need for grassroots medical support in society and bring better health guarantees to vulnerable groups.

In terms of social responsibility, PatientsForce achieves the goals of diversity and inclusion and health equality through innovative patient support and welfare programs.

Reducing patient burdens: From 2017 to 2024, PatientsForce assisted patients in accessing new drugs through its patient welfare program management platform, accumulating over NT$60 billion in burden reduction support, helping over 60,000 patients and their families. These actions not only significantly reduce patients' economic burdens but also promote social equality, particularly among rare disease and chronic illness communities with urgent high-cost drug needs, creating significant impacts.
  2. Social innovation award: In 2024, PatientsForce was awarded the ESG Corporate Sustainability Social Innovation Award by Global Views Monthly, recognizing its innovative contributions to the field of patient support services. This award highlights PatientsForce's leadership in integrating medical resources, enhancing patient experience, and promoting health equity, further solidifying the company's reputation in the industry.

Governance

Strengthening corporate governance is a key element of PatientsForce's ESG strategy, with the company not only actively pursuing international certifications but also ensuring operational transparency and clear objectives through sustainable development plans.

  1. International certifications: PatientsForce strengthens drug safety monitoring and regulatory compliance to ensure patients receive safe and effective treatments. The company has successfully obtained multiple international certifications, including SGS ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Certification, ISO 27001:2022 Information Security Management Certification, and ISO 27701:2019 Privacy Information Management System Certification, demonstrating its excellent capabilities and professionalism in the industry.

ESG Rating: PatientsForce's strategy consulting successfully completed the 2024 EcoVadis assessment, earning the EcoVadis badge and ranking in the top 26% globally among professional, scientific, and technical industries. The evaluation covered multiple corporate social responsibility aspects, including environment, labor and human rights, business ethics, and sustainable procurement, with particularly outstanding performance in business ethics and labor rights, earning the first EcoVadis Commitment badge. EcoVadis is an independent evaluation platform based on the ISO 26000 corporate social responsibility standard, established for supply chain transparency and widely recognized by leading multinational companies worldwide.

Digital innovation and honors

In 2024, PatientsForce received the HBR Innovation Business Model Transformation First Prize and ESG Special Award for its outstanding performance in digital innovation and business model transformation. These awards highlight PatientsForce's leadership in promoting new drug accessibility solutions through digital innovation and its relentless efforts in advancing medical accessibility and environmental sustainability.
At the same time, we actively participate in the innovative development of AI artificial intelligence and medical services, optimizing patient support program processes through AI technology, automating data processing and analysis, effectively reducing manual burdens, and improving service efficiency and accuracy. This not only brings better work experiences for employees but also reduces resource consumption caused by manual operations.
