2025 Love Help Charitable Trust Hope Fund Application

The Love Help Charitable Trust Hope Fund was established in 2017 with approval from the Ministry of Health and Welfare and is managed by Cathay United Trust. It operates according to its social welfare guidelines. The fund is dedicated to helping patients suffering from cancer, rare diseases, and major illnesses. It provides support to help these individuals face treatment challenges, overcome difficulties, and regain hope for life. The fund’s financial resources come from charitable donations by corporations, organizations, and individuals, with all funds used to support patients in completing treatment and returning to normal life. This ensures that love and hope continue to be passed on during times of hardship.

Emergency Assistance to Help Patients Overcome Difficulties

Currently, patients who meet the criteria can apply for emergency relief funds through referrals from physicians or nurses working with Patientsforce in clinical settings. This funding aims to alleviate the financial burden of medical expenses, allowing patients to focus on their treatment and recovery. Over the past seven years, many patients have faced challenges in obtaining government-issued low-income certificates due to various special circumstances, which have led to missed opportunities for social assistance. In response, the fund has relaxed the application requirements this year. If patients cannot provide a low-income certificate, a "Declaration of Income" signed by healthcare providers or caregivers can be submitted as part of the application. This adjustment aims to provide tangible support to more patients in need, helping them regain hope for the future.

Real Stories, Witnessing the Continuation of Hope

The Love Help Charitable Trust has assisted nearly a hundred patients in overcoming their health challenges by providing financial support, which has alleviated their economic pressure and allowed them to focus on receiving treatment.
